I noticed one day last week when I couldn’t sleep that when my brother in-law cannot sleep, he blogs. His blogs have become more and more thought provoking, profound, and deep. I am listening to an album by Scott Walker: it took eleven years to write, record and produce it. This man was so famous in the 60’s, SO famous. Then all of a sudden, he just hid from the cameras, the music, the fame. He just hid in America somewhere. He isolated himself for a while in a cabin, and wrote a bunch of new songs, then met up with his friend and recorded an album....

Suitcase
Today, I am traveling light. I am going home to see old friends and to play as a guest drummer at my home church for a conference, and I only brought a small 1970’s suitcase, a satchel and my guitar.
